A terroir, a history

Close to the Loire, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, otherwise known as the Valley of the Kings or the Garden of France, our region is loaded with art, history, knowledge and know-how.

Our Domaine is located in the heart of the Loire Valley in Saint Julien-de-Chédon, a very small village near Montrichard, 5 km from the Château de Chenonceau .

This tiny village on the banks of the Cher has a very rich terroir and our potential for making great wines is exceptional.

Our lands have also been classified in the new Touraine Chenonceaux appellation area .

Overall, we have 4 types of terroirs, clay-limestone soils and others: flint clay with hot soils and others colder.

This richness of soils and microclimates makes all the typicity of our wines and the diversity of our Cuvées.
